Of course, our children and grandchildren can always renege on their parents' and grandparents' debt -- especially in the case of our debt held by gullible foreign investors in U.S. Treasury obligations. Thus, for different reasons -- "Take this U.S. debt and shove it!" -- will be the rallying cry on both sides of the Pacific Ocean.

In short -- "Sovereign Immunity" means never having to say you're sorry for reneging on your national debt. Ahhhhhh !! -- the good Life !!
